Data recovery
If a drive has failed or you’ve deleted something by mistake, stop using it now. Every minute it runs can overwrite what we’re trying to get back.
We assess the drive for free, tell you what can be recovered and what it will cost, and only charge if we get your data back.
When to bring it in
- Drive not showing up, or asking to be formatted
- Files deleted or a drive formatted by mistake
- Laptop won’t start, but the files on it matter

What we do
- Logical recovery: deleted files, formatted or corrupt drives, failed laptops
- Imaging failing drives before recovery, so the original isn’t worn further
- USB sticks, SD cards and camera cards
- Mechanical failures (clicking drives) referred to a UK cleanroom partner — we quote their price upfront and handle the courier

Questions
My drive is clicking. What should I do?
Switch it off and don’t try it again. A clicking drive usually has failing heads, and each attempt to start it can scratch the platters further.
Do you look at my files?
Only file names and enough content to confirm the recovery worked. Recovered data is deleted from our equipment once you’ve confirmed you have it.
What does “no data, no fee” mean?
If we can’t recover the files you asked for, you don’t pay for the recovery. You only pay for a new drive to put the data on if you want one from us.
