Speed up a slow laptop with an SSD

Most “slow” laptops and PCs aren’t worn out — they still have a mechanical hard drive. Swapping it for a solid-state drive (SSD) typically cuts start-up from several minutes to under 30 seconds.

We copy everything across — Windows, programs, files and settings — so it comes back looking exactly the same, only much faster. Your old drive is returned to you or securely wiped, whichever you prefer.

Questions

My laptop can’t run Windows 11. Is it finished?

Not necessarily. Many of these machines run well on a supported Linux system for everyday web, email and documents. We can show you before you decide.

Will my programs still work?

Yes. We clone the whole drive, so programs, licences and settings move across unchanged.
